RECEIVING THE PRECIOUS BLOOD AND CHALICE  Beginning June 1st and 2nd, Corpus Christi Sunday
• No member of the faithful has to receive the Precious Blood. When you receive the Body of Christ you also receive his Blood.
• Say "Amen" after the minister says "the Blood of Christ". Reverently "nod" or bow to Chalice when not receiving.
• Carefully take the stem of the Chalice, taking care not to spill and just take a small sip.
• We are starting out with only 1-2 Chalices. Chalice will be in between the ministers of the Body.
 • There may be times when no chalice will be offered.
• If you are feeling sick, please refrain from receiving Communion from the chalice.
• Do not carry the sacred host with the intention of dipping the sacred host in the precious blood (intinction). It is reserved to the priest.
